 The worldwide socio-economic impact resulting from fog is just as signific
 ant as from other extreme events such as storms. Indeed\, fog may be respo
 nsible for severe disruptions at airports (delays or cancellations of flig
 hts)\, causes frequent road accidents\, and may impact rescue management a
 s well as military operations. Therefore\, accurate forecasting of fog is 
 essential.\nThe WG2 subgroup on fog alerts invites anyone interested in th
 e near real-time analysis of fog events to join this PROBE meeting. The go
 al of this meeting is to have an overview of the running fog alert tools t
 hat are based upon ground-based observations and initiate collaborations o
 n the topic.\nThe meeting agenda will be as follows:\n   1. Each participa
 nt will be invited to quickly introduce him-/herself and his-/her organiza
 tion\, as well as potential needs about fog nowcasting.      2. Presentati
 on of PARAFOG: a near real-time decision tool to support nowcasting fog fo
 rmation events at local scales.      3. Strategy to deploy and test PARAFO
 G tool through the COST-PROBE network. Highlight from the work already don
 e in Romania to adapt and run PARAFOG (to be confirmed).      4. Presentat
