Land-Atmosphere interaction workshop: Save the date!

Let’s find out at the upcoming interactive workshop organised by the AmeriFlux network in support of the  “Year of Water Fluxes” (

In collaboration with community representation from the U.S. Department of Energy's Atmospheric Radiation Measurement (ARM) User Facility and Atmospheric System Research (ASR) program, AmeriFlux is offering an open, interactive and virtual workshop on the topic of

Improving understanding of land-atmosphere interactions through integration of surface flux and atmospheric boundary layer measurements”.

The workshop will be held, via Zoom, on June 10th and 11th, 2021, from 830 am - 2 pm PDT  or 1130 am - 5 pm EDT both days). Registration will be free and open to all interested scientists around the world.

Talks will be pre-recorded and then streamed during the workshop, but will also be available online for asynchronous viewing by audiences around the world. Breakout sessions will follow each set of talks, to discuss the questions listed above, and to identify emerging opportunities for new research.

A virtual poster session will enable all workshop participants to share their work with the community.
