Using ground-based remote sensing, high-quality profile observations in the atmospheric boundary layer (ABL) are increasingly becoming available at high temporal and vertical resolution. These profiles of temperature, humidity, wind, turbulence, and aerosol characteristics are exploited to create advanced products for a variety of studies and applications.
